Hello Audrey,
Just a quick note to let you know how the dress (size, etc.) worked out. I wore the Scala (SCA14116) size 14 dress (not the size 16.....I had ordered at the last minute). I found the size 16 to be too large (no time for alterations). I "let out" the two darts in the lining (in the back of the dress...size 14). That allowed just enough room for a perfect fit. I'll donate the larger size to our local senior center I felt very special in such a lovely dress and received many compliments. I know I'll have to "change my name" to order from you in the future (six more grandchildren to go).....but I could not have found anyone that worked so hard to insure that everything was "just so" for our grandson's wedding. Thank you so much for everything.

Audrey's Mother of the Bride.com--Just wanted you to know the outfit was very successful. We had my son's wedding in Far Hills, New Jersey in the Willowood Arboretum on June 7, 2008 (6/7/08!). It was a glorious day and a very elegant affair, with huge bowls of mixed roses everywhere and the bride wore ivory silk and my son looked very handsome in a light grey suit, but the temps rose to 105 degrees. My outfit handled it well. It was nice to have the three pieces so I could remove the jacket. Thank you for helping me with the (what seemed at the time) daunting prospect of finding an outfit. YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN!!!!! Two years ago I ordered a full-length gown for formal nights on my first-ever cruise. It was a terrific-looking gown, very classy, though I let you talk me into a size too big!
This time I ordered a cocktail dress to wear to my niece's wedding in April. It's PERFECT!!! The colour is a great shade of blue for me, the length is perfect (I'm a WP22), and it fits like a dream!

I looked and looked in local stores and all I ended up with was frustrating..
They had to check availability, which took weeks..
Then they assured you that they had a "wonderful" seamstress they were using..
( Heck I thought that the dress would come ready to wear.. not via a seamstress )
I did my measurement.. clicked and in less than a week.. the dress was at my door..
The fit was perfect.. I could have worn it that night..
People that had recomended various little shops during my search were SHOCKED when I told them where I bought my dress... And I am sure that they are giving shoping at Audrey's a try.

I just made my second purchase from you! I bought a Karen Miller Mother of the Bride beautiful sequined floor length gown in pewter and it fit like a glove and looks absolutely beautiful. It just shimmers on all my curves! I don't know how I have been so fortunate. My first purchase was the Scala gown with the jacket with the pointed hem with all the jewels in bronze for my daughter's wedding. I bought it 10 months in advance because it was so beautiful. The wedding is in November. You now carry it in other colors, but I still think my choice is the prettiest! The Karen gown I will wear to my husband's boss's son's wedding. I now have two absolutely gorgeous gowns. I am lucky to know what will look good on my body. I paid full price for the Scala and it was well worth it. It was on the Miss Universe pageant that her wardrobe will be supplied by Scala! The Karen gown was on sale, so I did hit a little bit of luck. Thanks so much for this wonderful website. My mothers of the bride dress arrived (a day earlier than I expected). I am VERY happy with the way it is made, and the quality. The color matches the candle lighters dresses perfectly (which means, I will be colorl coordinated with the bridal party). I am the mother-of-the-groom, and the bride was so delighted with my dress and how well it blends with her mother's dress. What a blessing that is!
I want to tell you how much I appreciate your "personal" attention. Purchasing an evening dress for a wedding on line can be a bit nerve-wrecking. Over the past several weeks, I have e-mailed you with various questions, trying to get as much information as I could before making the purchase. I received a reply from you within minutes of each e-mail I sent you. Each reply was specific to my question. When I phoned you, you answered the phone (not an automated system) within 1 or 2 rings, and you were very personable and friendly on the phone, never sounding impatient or in a hurry. You took time to talk with me and explain things thoroughly. You not only have great merchandise, but above that, you provide excellent customer service! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY HIGHLY! recommend you! I have two daughter that will be getting married in the next few years, and you can be assured that I will be checking with you FIRST for my "Mother-Of-The-Bride" dresses!
As I told you, my husband and I have been self-employed since 1978. I believe that one of the reasons we have succeeded is due to good "CUSTOMER SERVICE". I can't tell you how many companies do not seem to care at all about their customers, only their profits. I have been very discouraged over the last several years at the (rightly called ) "Customer NO Service". Good customer service will bring repeat customers. Bad customer service will limit you to a one-time only customer. Keep up to good work, and I wish you years and years of continued good luck with your business. What a great fit. So glad I was able to change to a smaller size before my order was shipped. Thank you for working with me on the size change. The dress is perfect, color, workmanship, material, couldn't be more pleased.
I just wasn't content with the choices I had found at the speciality stores. In most cases the prices were out of sight & it took 10-12 weeks for some designer dresses to come in. I wanted something special for my daughter 's wedding but not at their prices.
